Meet Kate
Hi! My name is Kate Jagodzinski,
a certified nutrition and eating psychology professional with nearly 20 years of experience in the field of nutrition. My passion for helping others began with my own journey and a deep desire to understand the powerful connection between nutrition, the body, mind, and spirit.
While pursuing my undergraduate studies in dietetics at Benedictine University, I began an internship working for a nutrition scientist who taught me most of what I know and believe about nutrition and healing today. I saw firsthand in treating our clients how powerful of an impact changes to their diet and lifestyle could have on someone’s life. Much of what I was learning in practice was often contrary to the traditional dietetics model I was being taught, and this experience led me to rethink my path. In class I was being taught one method that I looked around and saw making our country sicker, while at work I was learning something completely different that was transforming people's health and lives completely! I decided I didn't want to be limited by how I could help others and so I chose to pursue a doctorate in naturopathic medicine so I could help people heal holistically, with nutrition as a large part of the foundation.
After two years of medical school, due to my own chronic health issue at the time, I took a medical leave and unfortunately was unable to complete my doctorate. However, I chose instead to pursue certifications in nutrition and eating psychology, returning to what had always been my original passion.
For seven years, I worked as a nutritionist, food + product researcher, and eventually manager of a science-based weight-management practice. That experience was transformative. I witnessed firsthand that people could change not only their bodies, but also their relationship with food, through evidence-based education, compassionate support, and sustainable approaches that addressed not only the physical, but the spiritual as well..
My own struggles with food and body image have also greatly shaped the way I work with others. I understand that creating a healthier relationship with food is about so much more than following another diet or pushing through a rigorous exercise plan. I believe true wellness comes from caring for the whole person—body, mind, and soul—and creating balanced habits that can become a way of life.
My goal is to help my clients move away from quick fixes, guilt, and all-or-nothing thinking and toward nourishment, healing, freedom, and a healthier relationship with themselves and food. I am deeply passionate about my own recovery and honored to support others as they walk their own journey toward healing.
Above all, I give God all the glory. I could not have done the healing or be able to do this work without Him. I pray that through my experiences, education, and work, I can be useful to Him and to my fellows by helping them discover greater health, hope, and freedom.

1 Corinthians 10:13
"So whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God."
